This movie was signed earlier to other Nazriya movies such
as Neram, Raja Rani, Naiyaandi and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum.Film was shot at
Chennai, Hyderabad and Kozhikode locations.Thirumanam Enum Nikkah was scheduled
to release on May 15, 2014 but was postponed.
Shia Muslim Jamatha, a Muslim outfit has filed case against the
movie for the hurting the sentiments of Islam. Prior movie which was produced
by Aascar Ravichandran ,
Velayudham
also had similar scenes which was later removed from the movie.
