Sridevi-The Queen Bee of Bollywood!

Sridevi is undoubtedly the most iconic actress of 1980s-1990s.Born in the Tamil Nadu(Sivakasi) to a lawyer she made her first appearance in Tamil movie Thunaivan at the age of four.Later she wont the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for Poombatta (1971).

After appearing as child artiste in many movies she made her debut in Bollywood with Julie(1975).Her success in Tamil Industry continued with Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan .Sridevi playing a woman suffering from amnesia in Moondram Pirai , went on to win the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.

She made her debut as actress in Bollywood with Solva Sawan in 1979.After that there has be no looking back.All here further movies in BOLLYWOOD like ChaalBaaz, Mr. India, Lamhe ,Khuda Gawah, Chandni were BLOCKBUSTERS.

Post marriage to Boney Kapoor, a film producer and the elder brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor she made appearance in many movie with English Vinglish , another blockbuster been her last.

Kochadaiiyan Breaking Records in BOX OFFICE

‘Kochadaiiyan: The Legend “has collected Rs 44 crore worldwide till now and seems to break all records in the box office. Kochadaiiyan was released in 2D and 3D on May 23 in six languages in over 3,000 screens worldwide. This film marks the directorial debut of Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya R Ashwin.The film also has Deepika Padukone and Jacky Shroff making the movie very special.

Moreover it’s the first time in India that a movie has used photo realistic motion capture technology.The same techinology used in Hollywood films like ‘The Adventures of Tin Tin’ and ‘Avatar’.

Oscar winner A R Rahman  has done the music and MediaOne Global Entertainment and Eros International have produced it
