Sridevi is undoubtedly the
most iconic actress of 1980s-1990s.Born in the Tamil Nadu(Sivakasi) to a lawyer
she made her first appearance in Tamil movie Thunaivan at the age of four.Later
she wont the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for Poombatta (1971).
After appearing as child artiste in many movies she made her debut in Bollywood with Julie(1975).Her success in Tamil Industry continued with Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan .Sridevi playing a woman suffering from amnesia in Moondram Pirai , went on to win the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.
She made her debut as actress in Bollywood with Solva Sawan in
1979.After that there has be no looking back.All here further movies in
BOLLYWOOD like ChaalBaaz, Mr. India, Lamhe ,Khuda Gawah, Chandni were
BLOCKBUSTERS.
Post marriage to Boney Kapoor, a film producer and the elder brother of
actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor she made appearance in many movie with
English Vinglish , another blockbuster been her last.
